My Facebook page/group is not available for selection

If you've added your FB account but can't see one of your pages or groups as an option to select, then read on.

When you add your Facebook account, we will by default send campaign content to the first page or group we can detect.

If you want us to send content to one of your pages/groups, you will need to tell us which one. For instructions on how to do this, check out this article. 

If you've followed the instructions in that article but can't see your Page listed, then there are a couple of things you might want to check.

Are you the page/group owner or administrator?

Are you definitely the owner or admin for the page/group? Please note, that you can only send campaign content to pages/groups that you are either the owner or an administrator of.

Did you reject permissions?

When you authorized Missinglettr to connect to your Facebook account, you will have been asked by Facebook to accept the permissions that we were asking for. Facebook offer you the ability to reject certain permissions. If you did this, then chances are Missinglettr will not be able to see your pages properly. 

To rectify this, you will need to:

  1. Delete Missinglettr from your connected apps list in Facebook. To do this head over to this page:
  2. Once there, search for "Missinglettr". Once found, hover over it with your mouse and press the X button to revoke Missinglettr's access.
  3. Head back into Missinglettr and go to Social Profiles in your settings. Click the X against the FB account you're having problems with. It will disappear from the list of connected social profiles. 
    Then navigate to: social accounts and delete your Facebook profile from the list. 
  4. You can now re-add your FB account by pressing the "+ Add Profile" button in your social profile settings page.
    This time, make sure you accept every permission Missinglettr is asking for.

You should now be able to see your pages/groups.
